Broughton-in-Furness School, Cumbria

This mosaic was done for Broughton Primary School in Cumbria for the millennium with lottery money. The design was based on a competition which had to include all the aspects of Broughton in Furness where the main activities are sheep farming, forestry and tourism.

With the very wet Cumbrian climate in mind the mosaic was done inside the school with every child participating and then transferred permanently to the outside playground wall.
